Learning and Teaching

Rationale: Learning is the acquiring of knowledge or skills from experience, study, and being taught. I believe that teaching works best when there is a secure and trusting relationship between the teacher and the learner. I have learned a lot about how to best teach and support all students, and I will use these techniques in my future classroom. Below are some of my lessons and tasks that I have prepared to best fit students:

Tutoring Reflection and Plan

This is my tutoring reflection and plan for my student who I was tutoring in reading. Each lesson, we would reread a familiar book, teach a new vowel correspondence, read a new book, and write a message.

During my technology course, I learned how to incorporate different types of technology into the classroom. This lesson focuses on the use of the SMART Board. It is part of a geography unit.
